It was great to see so many young demographers at the 3rd European Society of Historical Demography Conference in Pécs last week! Registration for events here! The Association for Young Historical Demographers will kick-off the conference with two one-hour informal sessions on Wednesday 26 June, between 14:00-16:00 just before the European Society for Historical Demography Conference starts. Since our last newsletter we have mainly focused on organizing formal and informal events to take place at the European Society for Historical Demography Conference in Pécs, Hungary. In the preliminary program of the conference, there is already a round table on ‘The Future of the Association for Young Historical Demographers’ scheduled to take place on Friday, 28 June, between 14:00-15:45. A few weeks ago we organized a very successful ‘Day for Young Historical Demographers’ together with the LONGPOP-INT project, the European Society for Historical Demography, the Young Demographers and all their partners at Charles University in Prague. This was part of the 10th Conference for Young Demographers.
