First Meeting of the Association for Young Historical Demographers was a success

On Tuesday 20 September the first meeting of the Association for Young Historical Demographers took place in Bar del Sol, Leuven: 18 PhD candidates and post-docs from all over Europe discussed the goals and future plans of the AYHD. The general conclusion was that the AYHD should be both a platform for exchanging knowledge on historical demography and an organisation which stimulates social events for junior scholars.
